What it is

A discount in exchange for an email. The shopper types their address; their own single-use code appears on screen right away and is already applied to the cart.

When to use it

  • Your store is new to the visitor and you want the email more than the margin.
  • You run ads and want a second chance to sell after the first visit.
  • You have a coupon problem: shared codes keep turning up on deal sites.

Why it works

A code that shows instantly converts better than one that “arrives in your inbox” — no tab switch, no spam folder. Unique codes mean a leaked code is worth exactly one order, so the offer can stay generous.

How to build it in the app

Create pop-up → template Welcome Code → in the editor select the code chip → Create a discount → switch on Unique code per subscriber → Publish.

Or Add element → Starter blocks → Email signup with discount code.

Watch out for

Keep the code chip inside the form's Success view — the app won't publish it anywhere else, because a unique code exists only after the signup.
